We are actively seeking community members to join our teams – if you live, work, hang out or own a business on Alberta Street, we would love your support!
There are a lot of ways to get involved:
Help with events
Marketing and promotions
Help address issues of displacement, gentrification, and economic equity
Assist with online and on-the-ground events
Video and photo production
Place Making, designing, and Urban Planning
Business outreach and support
Street cleanups, graffiti removal, street plantings
Community outreach and engagement, partnerships
Grant writing & fundraising, business, and organization development

Responsible for getting Alberta Street in tip-top physical shape, including physical improvements to buildings, businesses, and public spaces.
Responsible for analyzing the current economic condition and identifying opportunities for market growth, strengthening existing businesses, recruiting new ones, and supporting the district's overall health.
Responsible for promoting Alberta Street as the place to live, shop, eat, and play for residents and visitors. The promotion committee coordinates many community-building events in the district.
Every successful Main Street has a great Organization Team. We identify grant opportunities, manage our annual Partnership Drive, develop training resources for our volunteers and basically keep the place running!
